Fukuoka
Fukuoka is the capital city of Fukuoka Prefecture. Canal City
Canal City Hakata is a large shopping and entertainment complex in Fukuoka, Japan. Called the "city within the city," it boasts numerous attractions including shops; cafes; restaurants; a theater; game center; cinemas; two hotels; and a canal, which runs through the complex.
Ohori Park
Ohori is Japanese for moat, and the pond at the center of the park once served as part of the moat system of the neighboring Fukuoka Castle.

Uminonakamichi Seaside Park is a sprawling, family-oriented public park. The park is made up of several different areas including flower gardens, playgrounds, sports fields, a water park, a zoo and large open spaces and lawns perfect for picnicking.
The ruins of Fukuoka Castle
As Samurai World, the ruins of Fukuoka Castle are located in the middle of the city in Maizuru Park, named after the castle's alias, Maizuru Castle.
Fukuoka Tower
Fukuoka Tower stands 234 meters tall and is far and away the city's highest building and Japan's tallest seaside tower.
Seaside Momochi
The Momochi area features a number of tourist destinations including Momochi Beach, Fukuoka Tower, the baseball stadium, and Hawks Town.
Tenjin Chikagai (Tenjin Underground Shopping Mall)
This is the largest underground shopping area in Kyushu, built underground of Tenjin, stretching for 590 meters from the north to south of the downtown area. There are 12 avenues with 150 various shops of fashion, gourmet, books and more.
Nokonoshima Island Park
The Nokonoshima Island Park is a natural park of about 150 thousand square meters stretching out in the northern part of Nokonoshima Island.
Kushida Shrine
Kushida Shrine has a long history in Fukuoka city. The first of the three shrines contained in Kushida was built in 757AD.
