Hakone

Hakone is a town in Ashigarashimo District in Kanagawa Prefecture, is part of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park, less than one hundred kilometers from Tokyo. It is the location of a noted Shinto shrine, the Hakone Gongen, which is mentioned in Heian period literature. The distinct reputation is the hot springs, and natural beauty and the view across Lake Ashinoko of nearby Mount Fuji. Hakone Detached Palace

Hakone Detached Palace (旧箱根離宮, Kyū Hakone Rikyū) used to serve as a summer palace for the Imperial Family, but was later opened to the public.

The Okada Museum of Art is a privately-owned museum showcasing a wide collection of art pieces dating from antiquity to the modern era.

Daikanyama Observatory

Located on the Okayama boundary between Yugawara and Hakone. Is an observation platform about 1011m above ground, that has a great viewpoint. You can see a large panoramic view of Lake Ashinoko and Mt. Fuji. There is a bus that heads to Motohakone via Keikyu.

Mikuni Pass

Mikuni Pass is one of the most beautiful locations with views of Fuji. When looking from this location,we can see Mishima with Numazu on the outside. The Pacific Ocean, in the distance impresses visitors with the views of the Izu Peninsula. It is the perfect place for photography.
