Akan Mashu National Park is a national park located on the island of Hokkaidō, Japan. Along with Daisetsuzan National Park, these are the two oldest national parks in Hokkaidō. The park was established December 4, 1934. Akan is an area of volcanic craters and forests, covering 90,481 hectares.
Nikko National Park

Daisetsuzan National Park
Daisetsuzan National Park (大雪山国立公園 Daisetsuzan Kokuritsu Kōen), or Taisetsuzan is located in the mountainous center of the northern Japanese island of Hokkaidō.
Kushiroshitsugen National Park (Kushiro Marshland)
The Kushiro Marshland in Hokkaido was designated as a national park in 1987 in order to preserve the country's largest wetland and marsh habitat which supports the only known population of endangered Japanese Cranes in Japan.
Chubu Sangaku National Park Tateyama Part
The Chubu Sangaku National Park provides spectacular alpine vistas in every season. Its range stretches across Toyama, Nagano and Gifu Prefectures, and includes several 3000 meter high peaks and breathtaking hiking courses.
Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park
Considered to be the most Southern National Park in Japan this beautiful piece of preserved Okinawa eco-system is densely covered with virgin forests of subtropical trees such as mangrove, oak and pasania, and is also famous as the habitat of indigenous Iriomote Wild Cat.
