Showa Kinen Park

The entire park is home to approximately 1,500 cherry trees that bloom in full glory. Inside, there is a vast garden with a beautiful landscape formed by roughly 200 cherry trees amidst an expansive lawn. There is also a bridge from where rows of cherry trees can be seen lining the river.

Fuji Shiba-sakura Festival

The Fuji Shibazakura Festival (富士芝桜まつり, Fuji Shibazakura Matsuri) is one of the best and most popular occasions nationwide to see shibazakura (pink moss or phlox moss in English).

Kawachi Fujien Wisteria Garden

is a private garden in the wooded hills south of central Kitakyushu, famous for pectacularly presented, large numbers of wisteria flowers. The garden is opened to the public seasonally during the wisteria season which usually peaks around late April to mid May and during the maple leaf season

Ashikaga Flower Park

One of the best places to view fuji flowers is the Ashikaga Flower Park. The park is home to an ancient wisteria tree that boasts an age of around 160 years, taking you to a world that almost looks like the colorful jungle from the movie Avatar, and an 80-meter-long white wisteria tunnel.

Hitachi Seaside Park

Patchwork Road
