Hi Alice, rnrnWe have rested well from our Korean vacation, thank you for asking.rnrnI just realized that you are not based in Seoul because when I mentioned your name to Mr. Young he hesitated for a moment and when I looked at your contact number it has a different country code. I had brought some dried mangoes for you. Maybe we will meet when I am in Hongkong? Hope that will be sooner than later.rnrnAnyway, we enjoyed our Seoul & Jeju tours despite my slow & labored walking due to an ankle fracture in November. rnrnThe Hotels in Seoul are nice, clean and strategically located but a bit tight. Not your fault, but I guess it is to be expected in a busy and crowded city such as Seoul, squeezing 3 adults instead of 2 in a regular sized hotel room. If we are to go back, the two hotels would be worth going back to again. We covered quite a lot in Seoul. Mr. Young was attentive & solicitous. He would make sure we had a little snack if we're having late lunch or dinner. On the last day, he brought us to church (which is very important for us) though it was not on the schedule and had lunch at a good restaurant. Our van was new and very comfortable. rnrnThe Jeju Island tour was a good one too though on some days it was raining. The schedule was adjusted to have more indoor activities. Our guide Victor knows Jeju well. However, the van he used was very old and needs a little cleaning. The next two days, we had Cindy who was engaging, perky and knows Jeju like the back of her hand. She has a keen attention to details and was quite helpful in shopping. Her minivan was new, clean and comfortable too. rnrnOverall, it was a very pleasant and insightful tour of Korea for our family. I look forward to our next tour in June 2015 of Tokyo and Hokkaido again, arranged by your company.rnrnSincerely, Marlene NLT-150330-EK55248

Hi Emma, rnrnThanks very much for checking in. I really appreciate the many thoughtful itineraries you put together for us. We had an educational, wonderful and enlightening trip. It was a memorable experience. Our drivers were very experienced and the tour guides were excellent and very accommodating in making us feel comfortable. Particularly, Young was not only a good driver, but a knowledgeable tour guide, who showed us many interesting sites, educated us about Korean culture and was very patient and thoughtful throughout our tour. rnrnThe only sort of mishap we had was when we first arrived at Incheon and had to transfer to Gimpo, it was a bit stressful as our driver, Ho, didn't speak English well, and didn't know this airport well. He also accidentally dropped us off at the Gimpo International terminal to Jeju. However, he was very nice and I believe he felt very bad about inconveniencing us. He bought us drinks and donuts for our inconvenience. It was a nice gesture. I think the language barrier made it difficult. rnrnI would say if there was room for improvement, perhaps, the itinerary could specify which driver or guide was picking us up and which tour guide we would have for the next day or so. All the drivers who picked us did not speak English except for Young when we arrived from Busan. Arriving late, it was hard to be able to maneuver around to look for dinner, etc, but we managed. Unfortunately, I did not get to meet Victor or Jacky Choi whom I thought I was meeting but Rachel Ko and Kim were very nice, warm, and knowledgeable. rnrnAll in all, I thought it was an excellent trip and thanks so much for helping us arrange this trip for us. I really liked all the tour guides and greatly appreciated their help. Please send our special thanks to Young as we felt that he was like family and my daughter even cried on the way to the airport, saying she had missed him. I am planning a few more trips in the future and will definitely consider Novaland for our planning needs. rnrnThanks, Nathalie NLT-150403-YK39796

Dear Joanna, rnrnThank you so much for arranging our 7D/6N tour of Busan, Gyeongju, Andong and Jeju. I really appreciate your quick replies to my numerous queries and emails. rnWe had a blast with Ms Kim in Busan, Gyeongju and Andong. Ms Kim is always smiling and she tells us about the places we visit, folklore and legends, too. we gossiped about Korean actors and actresses, we chitchat about K dramas. Ms Kim took us to a shop in Gukje market where we bought cheaper souvenirs.rnWe had 2 drivers for Busan, Gyeongju and Andong. Both Mr Choi speak little English but were good. The car was comfortable, just enough for the 7 of us. When we arrived at Gimhae Airport, our luggage were sent to our hotel in a separate car.rnJeju didn't impress us much, it was made worse with Cindy, who was supposed to be our tour guide for Jeju. Cindy met us with her stern face at Jeju airport. Her car was barely big enough for the 7 of us with our 7 pieces of medium size luggage. She was more concerned with her new car then being a tour guide. For the 2 days in Jeju, Cindy was just the driver, not a tour guide. Cindy would drive us to a location with little or no explanation, tell us which way to go, she would sit and wait in her new car or wait for us in a cafe. rnShe didn't do her homework before meeting us. She asked where we are from, asked to see our itinerary. And when she spoke to us, it seemed that she was doing us a favor. Cindy should have warn us that we were to be locked up in a little room at Seongeup Folk Village to listen to the sale pitch!rnOn our last day in Jeju, Cindy reminded me that she took 2 coastal roads for the scenic drive to our location(in our itinerary).rnHotels in both cities were strategically located, places to shop and eat are near by.rnOn the whole, the trip was good, and we would definitely use Novaland Tours again.rnrnRegards,rnNanie Yang NLT-150404-MK55504

Hi LillianrnThank you for follow up with me – very much appreciated!! Sorry for late reply – just got over the jetlag!!rn rnOur trip would have been better if the weather cooperated with us, unfortunately it didn’t, but thanks to Mr. Young suggested that we switch the day so we can enjoyed Cherry Blossom festival without the rain, the following day didn’t turn out as expected due to bad weather. rn rnLove Jeju Island – the Coach tour was good, we made new friends. The only improvement I would suggest – should have arrangement for pick up at the airport arrival instead of having us taking taxi, luckily we managed to find the van taxi to fit 4 of us and luggage otherwise we have to take 2 taxi and that wouldn’t be good because the ladies already worried as is for the unknown places…rn rnBusan - could of be better but it rain the whole time, I was disappointed but no one to blame other then mother nature…rn rnAfter we stayed in the other 2 hotels – Sunbee and Ever Hotel it was good and spacious, Toyoko Inn we found the room was pretty small – that you can improved.rn rnUnfortunately Mom got sick the last 3 days in Busan; it limited our tour and enjoyment…rn rnOverall – the trip was good and well arranged other then bad weather and mom got sick; I would love to spend more time in Seoul as it has lots of history. Perhaps in the future I will take my husband with me and will definitely use your service again.rn rnI would like to give special “BIG THANK YOU” to Mr. Young for trying to make my trip as pleasant as possible and went beyond his personal time to show me around night tour in Seoul… greatly appreciated!!rn rnThank you again Lillian for the great service you’ve given me…rn rnHope to you again in the near future!!rn rnPs: how was Thailand trip? Did you enjoy it?rn rnBest Regards,rnBonnie NLT-150412-TK50232

Maybe you could start saying as followings:rn rn1. How is our service throughout your tour from any aspects you feel? Such as our travel consultant, tour guide’s, drivers or others’ attitude; hotels, transportations, scenic spots’ arrangement; and any other words you would like to say to me.rnrnEverything is fine – the jams in Korea cannot be helped, I guess. Very happy to be in S.Korea again. Managed to go to many places and all are well. The tour guides are very professional and especially Mr Young who took the extra miles to share the happiness and all the Korean culture and and its uniqueness.rnrnDear Emma, please forward this email to Mr Young:rnrnDear Mr Young, we have safely arrived in Malaysia on Saturday nite. Many thanks for all the happiness and memories. I am now at my workplace in Singapore. Stay healthy and fighting, sunbaeinim. Kamsah Hamidah……hah hah hahrnrn rn2. Where can we improve to be better and stronger? rnrnTo pre-empt the jams especially during week ends for your future travelers?rnrn rn3. Any other valuable comments, travel experience and happy moments you may have.rnrnThe tour guides are very professional and knowledgeable. Very happy moments with them. Thanks so much.rnrn rnIf you will plan for your next trip to Korea or other Asian Countries, we can offer travel expertise throughout Asian Countries (Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, China, Japan, Korea, India, Nepal and etc.). We sincerely hope we can service you again to realize your wonderful trip and return you an amazing memory!rn We intend to travel to Turkey or Japan next. We will keep in touch if we need assistance. Thanks so much. NLT-150427-MK54465

Attention Alice ChenrnrnDear Alice, rnrnOn behalf of our fellow travellers, Kevin Allan, Nessa Black, Ken and Angela McMaster, Maureen O'Connor and ourselves, Norm and Carol Yarwood we would like to thank you so much for all the time you took in organizing such a wonderful 5 days in Japan for us.rnrnThe guides were excellent Ari (Tokyo) picked us up at Yokohama with a big smile on his face willing to help us with our cases. Nothing was a trouble to him and for the two days in Tokyo he made it so easy to get around and pointed out places of interest. He put us on the Bullet Train to Kyoto after an amazing day at Mt Fuji. We were met by our very helpful driver who was very friendly and made sure we got to our rooms in our hotel. Next morning we were met by Kotani (Ali) who was excellent. She was so informative with all her knowledge about the Temples, Castle and Palace. When she took us to the station as small as she is she still wanted to help us with our luggage. She gave me instructions about who would be picking us up in Tokyo and where he would be. It worked out well.rnrnIt will be a wonderful memory for us all. I am going to send some photos to you. There is one of Ari with Norm and myself (Carol) NLT-150504-TK39842

Dear Tina, rnrnFinally I have time now to give you my feedback.rnI am glade you ask for them and I hope you will see my comments as constructive and not as complains.rnrnOverall we were satisfied with the services provided by your company. Your quick responds as we were planing the trip was outstanding.rnThe guide provided in Seoul was outstanding but I could not say the same thing about the one in Busan. She was knowledgeable but would need a bit of training on how to interact with tourists.rnThe driver in Busan should be inform that tourist are coming to relax and not be stress by his driving. We had to ask him to slow down. At one point he was going at 145 km/h in construction zone. rnFinally I think some proactive advises could help tourists like us in planning costume made tours even if you have to charge more money. For example we could have been advise that the JSA at DMZ was close on the Saturday and go there on the Friday and visit Seoul on the Saturday.rnFor us it was a big disappointment not visiting the JSA. I not even sure it worthwhile to go all the way to DMZ if you are not to go see the JSA.rnrnAgain I hope you take my comments as constructive. NLT-150508-YK56218
