Back home-
Just wanted to let you know some reviews-
Seoul- hotel was good, location great- All the tours were wonderful- really liked the garden tour we took with Brian, a lovely man.
Jeju- Hotel Leo, nice hotel, but location sucked, when we asked what to do around there, the man said nothing really. Would have assumed we would be near a beach or a place with things to walk to. Our view was literally a wall, like if we opened the window we could touch the other building. The doors to the rooms were also fire hazards, they went into the hotel hallways, so for the three nights my father would talk about how dangerous that was (when he was young his family home burned down and they all were able to escape). Han our guide was amazing and the best one we had the whole time, went above and beyond a couple of times in order to help us out.
Busan: Hotel Ramada, great location, my dad did call down for an extra pillow (only one given for each) and was told they didn't do that. I don't think that has ever happened before. Jino Kim was also a lovely man, he was always trying to make sure we were comfortable and would stay with us in the hotels for check in to answer questions- would highly recommend him as well.
Daegu- Didn't care for the hotel, room were fine, but why have a window into the bathroom? They didn't have breakfast marked down for us, so it took a couple of min to sort that (again,, Jino was there to help with that), everything was an extra cost (like the pool), the man who I assumed was a doorman didn't actually open doors for anyone. And it wasn't really near anything walking distance.
Temple stay, you were right, one night was enough! but it was a very unique experience and we are glad we did it. When it was time to leave Jino took us to the train station and even waited till we were on before he left, it was very sweet. My dad did have the thought of why didn't we fly out of Daegu to Seoul or take the train from Busan, so Jino wouldn't have to drive extra.
Overall it was a lovely trip, it was very hot, but a nice trip. Thank you again for putting together this trip for us. I do hope you use Han and Jino again, they were fantastic.

5 - Flexibility - we had a couple of challenges with trains not running, each guide adjusted well
Drivers & Cars
5 - airport transfers were clean, roomy, comfortable and courteous
Hotels
4/5 - location and comfort of Tokyo, Kyoto & Osaka - all really good.
Sights & Activities - 5 - good choices for our "see & do as much as possible in 12 days or less" tour
Public Transport
5 - bullet trains are awesome. Probably should have done a train from Osaka back to Tokyo rather than taking a flight
4 - local trains & buses were fine; just had a issues with track closures that forced us to change plans (2x), but the guides were agile and took it in stride.
Overall score I would give a 4.5! It was a great experience and I would recommend Novaland to others.

It was great working with you Cindy.
Always pleasant and patient when we were trying to figure out our travel plans. Had a unique experience visiting family and different areas of Korea.
Cindy helped us make different arrangements when our personal plans didn’t work out to travel to Jeju Island.

We didn’t get to do the Gapyeong Rail Park because it was booked for the day. Tickets should be bought in advance. It worked out though because we were able to see the Seoul Sky Building.
