The official announcement for the 2019 full blossom will be on March 1.

There are 75 varieties and 1,500 cherry trees in the Garden. 2) Ueno Park

3) Chidorigafuchi

It is the most beautiful place during the cherry blossom season in Tokyo. More than 800 cherry trees on both sides of the spring river bank together, reflecting each other and obscuring the sky. 5) Sumida Park


On the banks of the Sumida Park, there are nearly 1,000 cherry trees last for 1 km. It has been the famous cherry blossom spot since the Edo period. 8) Homyoji Temple



An unique cherry blossom spot, located inside the Kishimojin at Zoshigaya. Cherry blossoms, ancient temples, it seems that the most traditional Japan is frozen here. 10)  Rikugien Gardens


Rikugien Garden is an ancient Japanese courtyard. Most of the tourists who come here in the spring for the centuries-old weeping cherry tree inside. The broadness of the trunk is almost obscured by the sky, and the soft branches that are hanging down are like pink waterfalls.
In order to better show the beauty of this ancient tree, Rikugien Gardens offers night-time activities in the cherry blossom season also.
