Morocco: A Place Full of Colour!
There is a country in Africa that doesn't look like Africa; Not Europe, but close to Europe. It is the ultimate dream trip of a lifetime for millions of people.
It is an ancient civilization with a history of thousands of years, and the whole city is full of European flavor. It is the birthplace of the classic fairy tale "Arabian Nights".
It's Morocco! The purity of white, the purity of blue, the dazzling brilliance of gold... A city full of color!
Popular Destinations of Morocco
Casablanca
It's called Casablanca, or Darbayda, that means the white town.
Casablanca people believe that white represents sincerity and purity, so they like to wear white robes and build white houses, which is also the origin of its "White City".
Then there is the Oscar-winning film Casablanca, which gives the place its mystique.
Here, you can stroll casablanca's Miami Beach Promenade, take in the wind and look out over the blue Atlantic.
Marrakech
The beauty of Morocco because its culture and nature. Marrakesh's famous Sleepless Square has been buzzing for thousands of years, but it still doesn't stop sleeping.
From sunrise until late at night, you can see Indian snake dancers, Arabs selling spices and tea, old men with long beards telling stories in Morocco, various busking performances, and countless stalls selling food, drinks, clothing, carpets, furnishings, leather and handicrafts.
Ouarzazate
The tiny Moroccan town of Ouarzazate is a caramel-colored oasis set against a clear blue African sky. Be inspired by Ait Benhaddou, a beautifully preserved Kasbah that's a UNESCO World Heritage site, or walk in the starry path of celebrities by taking a tour of one of Ouarzazate's two movie studios. Tour the surrounding dunes on camel-back, or simply bask in the quiet bustle of the bargaining sessions at local markets.
Merzouga
When a wealthy family refused hospitality to a poor woman and her son, God was offended and buried them under the mounds of sand called Erg Chebbi. So goes the legend of the dunes rising majestically above the twin villages of Merzouga and Hassi Labied, which for many travellers fulfil Morocco's promise as a dream desert destination.
Chefchaouen
You may not have heard of the name, but you must have seen some beautiful pictures of the town. In Chefchaouen, most of the doors, stairs and walls of the houses are painted a blue superior to Mediterranean blue, the stone blue of the beauty of the mountains. Deep shallow layer upon layer, very fascinating.
It is close to the Mediterranean Sea, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, so it is very quiet. As a Muslim country, the town is full of strong Arab flavor.
Rabat
The ville nouvelle's palm-lined boulevards are clean, well kept and relatively free of traffic – a blessed relief for those who have spent time in Casablanca. There's a clean central beach, an intact and evocative kasbah, and an attractive walled medina that is far less touristy than those in other large cities. All in all, the city is a good choice for a short sojourn.
