Today, we will have an out-of-town tour in half day to the Teotihuacan Pyramids which is definitely worthy the 1 hour driving. By sweeping those various pyramids, plazas, temples and palaces of nobles and priests, main attractions includes Pyramid of The Sun, Pyramid of The Moon, the Ciudadela (“Citadel”) , the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, and the Avenue of The Dead.
After the awe to the astoundingly ancient civilization , Let’s head back to Mexico city, directly go to Coyoacan district, where has the Museum of Frida Kahlo for famous female artist Frida Kahlo, 100 years old Centennial Garden (Jardin Centenario), 50years old artisanal market,and lots of slap-up cafes and galleries, and then take a boat through the floating garden in Xochimilco district, you can buy some beers, burrito, even a Sombrero, totally indulge yourself in the banks review and that laid-back vibes.
This is a free day for you to catch a breath, though we will take the flight to Chichen Itza in Yucatan State. We can fly in afternoon if you prefer to spend more time in Mexico city, or fly in morning if you are hurry for laid-back Yucatan, it is up to you.
We can have a night show if you would like to take a look at different light patterns projecting on Chichen Itza through the private entrance from hotel.
In the early morning, you may want to enjoy the Chichen Itza views under the morning glow before the crowds . Then let’s head to the IK Kil Cenote where you can swim in the same place that Mayan King and Queen swam.
Before heading to Cancun, enroute we will visit the small and tranquilt city---Valladolid, spend some time here to visit some attractions or just wandering around this enchanting place, We could also visit the Hot Instagram attraction: Cenote Suytun. It is best to visit here at noon if you want a best photographic effect of that the sun shines water through the hole, we could switch the attractions order.
Where to find street food in Valladolid: Bazar Municipal food court, on the corner of the main plaza at the corner of Calle 39 and Calle 40.
This day we will spend whole day on The Island of Women ,immerse us in the rich Caribbean flavor. Enjoy touring over 500 sculptures by glass-bottom boat in the Under Water Museum, or get closer to the sculptures by snorkelling or scuba diving. Playa Norte beach, which named the best beach in the Caribbean sea. Punta Sur, a stunning place to simply enjoy the scenery, rocky views and Pre-Colombian Mayan Ruins of Ixchel, chances to encounter dolphins in Garrafon Reef park and meet the street art from sea wall murals with bright colors, etc.
Beside attractions, some unique activities you can join, such as swimming with whale shark , turtle farm etc. And you do not want to miss trying some tasty food there. Enjoy this earthly paradise !
