ZARQA
Majority of the area in the governorate is desert, but there are also patches of wetlands. There are some popular attractions related to wetlands are popular for bird sightseeing in Zarqa. Bird watching is the most popular among things to do in Zarqa in Azraq. Historically this region was home to a variety of species migrating from Africa. Most of these species are no longer found in these regions, but you can still see gazelles on Zarqa travel. The wetlands are also popular for hiking among things to do in Zarqa.
MADABA
Madaba,“The City of Mosaics” is best known for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics, it is home to the famous 6th century Mosaic Map-- a mosaic cartograph that depicts the oldest known representation of Palestine. During the early centuries of Christianity, Madaba was an important town as a stop along the King’s Highway, a trade route. It also was home to various churches.

Petra
Petra, the ‘rose red city’, the city ‘half as old as time’, one of the ‘Seven Wonders of the World’, was carved out of the rocky southern Jordanian desert by the Nabateans over 2000 years ago. What was then the capital of the Nabatean Kingdom, was lost for 2000 years until it was rediscovered 200 years ago by a Swedish explorer. Actually it is the reason that many travellers come to Jordan in the first place.

Quseir Amra
One of the best-preserved desert buildings of the Umayyads, Qusayr Amra is the highlight of a trip into the Eastern Desert. Part of a much greater complex that served as a caravanserai, bathhouse and hunting lodge. The frescoes in the castle is also another important feature of the castle, which depict the life of the earlier settlers in the region.
Um er Rasas
Um er-Rasas (Kastron Mefa'a) is an archeological site which contains ruins from the Roman, Byzantine and early Muslim civilizations. It is home to 16 historic churches, secret crypts, and towering stone archways. It has survived undisturbed for 1200 years and has a high level of authenticity. Among the portions excavated so far include the Roman military camp, 'Kastron Mefaa', a frontier camp of the Limus Arabicus. and several churches.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
In view of demonstrating the dazzling views in Jordan, mountain, water, ruins in different period. How can it be dazzling without the red desert? It is also the only mixed site included in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Jordan. It has been home to many ancient folks and cultures during prehistoric times. Baptism Site "Bethany Beyond The Jordan" (Al-Maghtas)
Revered by religious locals and travelers, Jordan's Al Maghtas is thought by many to be the spot where Jesus was baptized.The baptism site was only rediscovered after the Israel-Jordan peace treaty, when mine-clearing operations exposed the ancient riverbed. Sandstone walls dating back to the first century A.D. still bear rudimentary crosses etched by early pilgrims who stopped here on their route from Jerusalem to Mount Nebo. Over the centuries, medieval saints, monks, and scribes continued to affirm this as the site of the baptism.

Ajloun Castle
The Ajloun Castle,a 12th-century Muslim castle, stands 1,100 meters above sea level atop a hill. It has seven towers built of limestone blocks cut from the moat around the castle.It is well preserved with the interior very much intact and the incredible views over the Jordan Valley are worthy to climb!
Roman Theatre
This magnificently restored theatre is the most obvious and impressive remnant of Roman Philadelphia, was probably built in the 2nd century AD during the reign of Antoninus Pius (AD 138–61). The theatre itself is cut into the northern side of a hill, and has a seating capacity of 6000. The best time for photographs is the morning, when the light is soft – although the views from the top tiers just before sunset are also superb.
Amman Citadel
The Amman Citadel, located in the heart of modern-day Amman, is an impressive site that helps tell the story of this region’s layered heritage.It is also the site of one of ACOR’s most impactful undertakings to date: the excavation and partial restoration of the Great Temple of Amman, also known as the Temple of Hercules.
Karak Castle
The famous Crusader stronghold Karak (or Kerak), later a Mamluk fortress, is an impressive example of military architecture, built on top of a ridge, separated from the old fortified town by a deep moat.Views are far-reaching, even as far as the Dead Sea, and the castle held a pivotal role in the heart of a line of Crusader defences that stretched from the Red Sea all the way to Turkey.
St George’s Church Madaba
This rather modest Greek Orthodox church houses a treasure of early Christianity. It was built in 1896 AD, over the remains of a much earlier 6th century Byzantine church. It hosts the famous mosaic map of the holy land. With two million pieces of vividly coloured local stone, it depicts hills and valleys, villages and towns as far as the Nile Delta.
Jordan Desert Castles
Beside the UNESCO site Quseir Amra, there are still many castles located in the middle of deserts. All the castles date to different periods and are in varying states of repair – Qasr al-Hallabat is of Nabatean and Roman origin, Qasr Amra and Qasr Kharana date to the Umayyad period and Qasr al-Azraq was built during Ayyubid rule and remained in use until the early 20th century when it served as a refuge for TE Lawrence.
Umm Qais
In the hills above the Jordan Valley, situated the ruins of the Decapolis city of Gadara, now called Umm Qais. The site is striking because of its juxtaposition of Roman ruins with an abandoned Ottoman-era village, as well as its tremendous vantage point, with views of three countries (Jordan, Syria, and Israel and the Palestinian Territories), encompassing the Golan Heights, Mt Hermon and the Sea of Galilee.

Ma'In Hot Springs

At 410 meters below sea level, the Mujib Biosphere Reserve is the lowest nature reserve on Earth. The breathtaking scenery and the challenge of negotiating Mujib’s fast-flowing rivers make the Reserve one of Jordan’s most popular natural attractions.
Azraq wetland reserve
It is a unique wetland, located in the heart of the arid Eastern Desert, which takes its name from the Arabic word for ‘blue’. A migratory stopover for birds from three continents, Azraq is becoming increasingly popular for bird watching. From the walkways and hides, visitors get the chance to observe birds close at hand, including local, migratory and occasional rare species.
Ajloun forest reserve
Located in the Ajloun Highlands, this small (just 13 sq km) but vitally important nature reserve was established by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN) in 1988 to protect oak, carob, pistachio and strawberry-tree forests. It is also a wildlife sanctuary for many endangered animals.

Kings' Highway Driving Tour
For centuries the Kings' Highway was the principal route for traders traveling between Arabia and the Levant. These days, most heavy traffic takes the Desert Highway, leaving the winding switchbacks, dramatic vistas, castles and churches to the intrepid visitor. Some parts of it is rutted and narrow, which follows the contours of the rolling hills above the Dead Sea rift.
Accompanied with a little fatigue, your heart will start to be throbbing as looking down at this wonderful land. You will be picked up by a English speaking drive, then drop you off the hotel.
Let's commence our Jordan Classic Tour from exploring Amman city. Visiting the Amman citadel, and Roman Theater, Nymphaeum, take a look at in Jordan Museum, and enjoy free time in the old souk-Souq Bukhari.
We will have a round trip near Amman. Directly head to Jerash, get wowed by the "Pompeii of the East". See the impressive fortified castle which was used by Saladin's armies to protect the region against the Crusaders at Aljoun castle. Back to Amman, enjoy a walking on the Rainbow street. You could find here a restaurant for your dinner.
We will leave Amman for Dead Sea today. Firstly, head to Madaba for the famous mosaic map in St George's Greek Orthodox Church, and the city self is a attraction, we could have a Streetwalk tour. After lunch, let's head to Mt.Nebo. Arrive to Dead Sea before sunset, enjoy the glowing sunset on the beautiful waters from your room.

After breakfast, we will drive south(approx 3.5hours) to meet the ancient world wonder - Petra. After lunch, we will walk through the Siq, see the iconic the Treasury, Al-Deir and other sites in Petra.
Aside from those famous sites, there are so much to see in Petra, let's continue exploring this one-of-its-kind here, royal tombs, colonnaded street, the great temple etc.
After lunch, head to Valley of the Moon - Wadi Rum(approx 2 Hours).
Starts with an off-road excursion in a 4×4 jeep vehicle for 2 hours , exploring some of the most beautiful areas of the desert. Then, when night falls, enjoy a traditional Bedouin-style dinner under the stars in the desert. Over night in a unique accommodation - Wadi Rum Bubble Luxotel, staring up the starry sky to dream.
Since our tour cannot be just punch in and punch off like other group tours, Wadi Rum is worthy the second half day. We arranged a Camel Ride, after then, the rest time is left for you playing in the sands.
We start our drive to Aqaba after lunch(around 70minutes). Then, directly go to the 2 hours Semi-Submarine tour, onboard you will be completely submerged in the middle of all this beauty, a natural aquarium that until now, only divers could enjoy. Before wrap up this day, let's enjoy a free walk on the South Beach, maybe you can see the breathtaking sunset down the red sea.
Morning, we will take a look at the Aqaba Fort and Sharif Hussein bin Ali Mosque. Afternoon, we can enjoy the snorkeling or diving in the red sea, even Red Sea Sailing.
