Day 1 : Tokyo

Upon arrival at Narita Airport, catch an airport transfer limousine bus to your accommodation.

Overnight at Villa Fontaine Shiodome or similar.

Day 2 : Tokyo (B)

Breakfast at Hotel. Tokyo Morning tour visiting the Tokyo Tower, Meiji Shrine and Imperial Palace Gardens. Afternoon free at leisure.

Overnight at Villa Fontaine Shiodome or similar.

Day 3: Tokyo - Nikko - Tokyo (B, L)

Breakfast at Hotel. World Heritage Nikko full day tour visiting the Nikko Toshogu Shrine, and one of Nikko's three famous Kirifuri Falls. Enjoy a Japanese-style Lunch at Local restaurant.

Overnight at Villa Fontaine Shiodome or similar.

Day 4: Tokyo - Mt.Fuji - Hakone (B, L, D)

Breakfast at Hotel. Travel by coach halfway up Japan's highest mountain "Mt Fuji", to experience a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 metres. Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch. In afternoon, proceed to Hakone Ropeway, visit Owakudani Valley and then a ride on a pirate ship on Lake Ashi. After the tour, Make your own way from odawara station to your accommodation in Hakone.

Mt Fuji: is with 3776 meters Japan's highest mountain. It is not surprising that the nearly perfectly shaped volcano has been worshipped as a sacred mountain and experienced big popularity among artists and common people.

Mount Fuji is a dormant volcano, which most recently erupted in 1708. It stands on the border between Yamanashi and Shizuoka Prefectures and can be seen from Tokyo and Yokohama on clear days.

The easiest way to view Mount Fuji is from the train on a trip along the Tokaido Line between Tokyo and Osaka. If you take the shinkansen from Tokyo in direction of Nagoya, Kyoto and Osaka, the best view of Mount Fuji can be enjoyed from around Shin-Fuji Station on the right hand side of the train, about 40 to 45 minutes after leaving Tokyo.

Day 5: Hakone - Takayama (B)

Breakfast at Ryokan. Catch the bullet train from Odawara to Nagoya and then Limited express train from Nagoya to Takayama. Afternoon tour of Takayama, stroll through Takayama, visiting Yatai Kaikan Hall, where colourfully decorated traditional festival floats are displayed; Kusakabe Folk craft Museum, formerly the residence of powerful merchants under government patronage; and the streets of Kami Sannomachi, which preserve traditional Japanese wooden houses.

Overnight at Hida Hotel Plaza or similar.

Day 6: Takayama - Shirakawa go – Kanazawa

 Breakfast at Hotel. Takayama and Shirakawago 1 Day Tour, visiting the famous morning market of Takayama. Scenic drive by Lake Miboro and along Shokawa River to Shirakawago, designated in 1995 as part of the World Heritage. Its high lights are unique structures called Gassho-Zukuri. Then visit Gokayama, another World Heritage village, where you can experience Japanese paper making. Continue to Kanazawa.

Overnight at Nikko Kanazawa or similar.

Day 7: Kanazawa – Kyoto

Breakfast at Hotel. Kanazawa Morning Tour, visiting Kenrokuen, one of Japan's three most beautiful traditional gardens; Kutaniyaki Pottery kiln, Old samurai residence and Higashi-chaya machi. Catch the Limited express train from Kanazawa to Kyoto and make your own way to your accommodation.

Overnight at Kyoto Dai-ni Tower Hotel or similar.

Day 8: Kyoto (B)

Breakfast at Hotel. Morning sightseeing of Kyoto, visiting the Golden Pavilion, Nijo Castle and Kyoto Imperial Palace. Afternoon free at leisure.

Overnight at Kyoto Dai-ni Tower Hotel or similar.

Day 9 : Kyoto - Kansai Airport (B)

Breakfast at Hotel. Free until departure. Transfer to Kansai Airport by Airport Shuttle van. Pick up time is about 4 hours prior to the flight.
