First on the list is Arenal. Technically, the name of the town is La Fortuna, but ‘Arenal’ is the catchall term used to refer to the Arenal recreational area – which includes Arenal Volcano, Arenal Volcano National Park, Lake Arenal, and some excellent whitewater rafting rivers. Incredible views of the volcano are available throughout town. Here, you can enjoy rugged activities like hiking near a volcano, rappelling, rafting, and mountain biking around the lake.

Monteverde Cloud Forest

Manuel Antonio National Park is internationally recognized as being one of the most biodiverse parks on the planet. Lush tropical forests, lagoons, mangroves and pristine white sandy beaches make up one of the most diverse ecosystems imaginable.
The four beaches in the park, Espadilla Sur, Manuel Antonio, Escondito and Playita, are some of the best in the country.
Cathedral Point lies between Playa Espadilla Sur and Playa Manuel Antonio. It is connected to the mainland by a narrow land bridge and if you are up for the hike, provides a memorable view.
Tortuguero
Tortuguero, Costa Rica features an Afro-Caribbean vibe that you’ll miss in other parts of the country. You know what else you won’t want to miss? Sky Tram and Sky Trek
The slow paced Sky Tram gondolas will provide a smooth ride through the rain forest, with endless views along the way, so you can appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds you on your way to the top. Once at the at the observation deck, you will be able to enjoy the most magnificent views of the volcano peak, rain forest valley and endness green "sea" for as long as you desire.
You will then gear up and get ready to ride the zip-lines down to the bottom. a helmet, harness, and gloves will be provided, and the instructor will explain the proper way to ride the zip-lines. In total, there are 8 zip-lines at mountain Arenal, the longest of which is 2,493 feet (1,250 m). This is a fun and exhilarating experience.
White Water Rafting
there are more than just one place for the water rafting in Costa Rica which provide several level of water rapid options to choose from. The Balsa River near La Fortuna offers class II/III rapids, as same as the Sarapiquí River, they are excellent for someone who havn't try water rafting before.

Rappelling tours are a fun, safe and exciting way to experience some of Costa Rica’s most magnificent landscapes. The sport, also known as canyoning, involves a controlled descent down a rock face using a secured rope. Oftentimes this descent is within boundaries of a waterfall, making it a memorable.

TreeTop Climbing
Ficus trees (or fig trees) have a hollow trunk, forming a tube with natural footholds for you to climb. It grows from up high in the tree canopy with its roots wrapping around its host tree as they grow downwards. Eventually the host tree dies and what left is a tree with a hollow. The Monteverde Ficus tree is very different from a standard tree. It’s completely hollow, making it great for climbing up into the tree canopy. It’s one of the best things to do in Monteverde.
Kayaking

Start your fresh day with 3 hours trekking tour in the Arenal Volcano National Park. You will walk along the old lava beds and learn about the volcano, the tropical forest surrounding it and the abundant wildlife from an informative guide.
For the finest, most unobstructed views of the Arenal Volcano and Lake, ride the Sky Tram up to the area's best observation deck. You'll then ride a series of 8 zip-lines to the base of the mountain(3 hrs).
Following the tour of the volcano, you will be taking to one of the volcano heated spring water pools. Choose one of the pool with your preferred temperature, soak yourself in and wash away the fatigue from the walking & trekking.
There are many more to see and experience in Arenal, but we wish to show you more about Costa Rica, so we are heading to Monteverde today. Instead of driving you through those muddy bumping dirt road, you will across Arenal lagoon to Monteverde at the other side on a 3.5 hour car-boat-car commute. Beautiful views along the Lake Arenal while you are on boat journey.
After arrival at one of the mountain hotel, rest and have your lunch at hotel first.
At afternoon, you will take for a special tour--Coffee plantation tour. Coffee is one of the important economic crops in Costa Rica. On this fun and educational tour, learn how family, sustainability, and attention to detail all combine to nurture coffee from cherry, to bean, to brew. The coffee plantation doesn’t just produce an incredible cup of coffee, it is part local history and part culture. Yes, you will enjoy samples too.
You'll also learn about the growing, harvesting, and production of chocolate and sugar cane if you are interested.
Monteverde, a top destination for nature lovers and adventurers! Your mystery trekking journey into the deep cloud forest start early morning. You will explore several trails in search of birds and mammals and discuss the amazing diversity of plants with a knowledgeable tour guide. You will learn about the incredible diversity of flora and fauna and many of the unique relationships many cloud forest species have with each other. Be sure to bring your cameras, as you can take pictures through the guide's spotting telescope.
At afternoon, enjoy one of the adventurers like treetop climbing; skywalk on Suspension Bridges, visit the Butterfly Garden or horseback riding across beautiful Monteverde. There are many more...
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you are heading to the Manuel Antonio National Park. On the way, you will pass the crocodile bridge to see hundreds of American Crocodiles either resting or swimming just right under the bridge.
Before lunch, you will have a short stop at Jaco beach or Hermosa beach, a 10 km section of black sand beach loved by beach goers and surfers alike. This is where the International Quicksilver Championships are held every year in August. The Olive Ridley sea turtles come ashore to nest too.
Arrival in Manuel Antonio, check into one of the beach hotel and rest for a while.
This afternoon, you will sail to a nearby beach for a snorkeling journey. The ocean off the coast of Manuel Antonio National Park is known for its reefs and calm waters that allow for easy snorkeling. Snorkelers that take the plunge here will get to see giant schools of tropical fish.
Today is another day of Ocean time. You’ll start paddling on the calm water along the coastline of Manuel Antonio. past islands and inlets for incredible views and bird watching. This ocean kayaking adventure is an exciting way to experience Costa Rica's marine and coastal wonders, and much easier than river kayaking, making these trips open to experienced and inexperienced kayakers. Eventually you’ll stop on a secluded, white-sand beach for fresh fruit and snacks. And rest on the beach for the fabulous sunset view before returning to your hotel.

Cathedral Point lies between Espadilla beach and Manuel Antonio beach. It is connected to the mainland by a narrow land bridge with beautiful arc of white sand beaches at both side, it's like a tail of a Giant Whale. A memorable view you shouldn't miss. Today, we will guide you through the park trail to it. After being dropped at trail entrance by private vehicle, our experienced guide, while taking you through this natural world of wonder that is bursting with biodiversity, will point out several species of monkeys, sloths, coatimundis and much more.
After the hiking, you can either return to the hotel to rest or spend your rest day at one of your famous beaches. The four beaches in the park, Espadilla Sur, Manuel Antonio, Escondito and Playita, are some of the best in the country.

After a panoramic driving journey through the city, we will stop to visit the Museum of Gold (an archaeological interest site), the Central Market, place full of the Costa Rican cultural heritage and traditions or the Metropolitan Cathedral. And several historically important or main buildings in just walking distance. San José has stunning architecture, beautiful parks and delicious food, you shouldn't ignore it if you have time.
After your breakfast with one more Costa Rica Coffee, you will be taken to the airport for your flight back home.
