Highlights

11 Days The Wild of Colombia

Colombia, a land beyond your imagination.

Colombia’s Tourism resources are super abundant: beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, tropical rain forests in the Amazon, snow-capped Andes, bustling cities beyond your imagination, and a number of world Heritage sites.

Nearly a tenth of Colombia is made up of national parks and species-rich nature reserves, magnificent rivers and varied landscapes.

Colombian coffee is one of the few single-origin coffees sold in the world under its national name. It is well-balanced, moderately acidic and has a light nutty flavour.

It's a country that will thrill you with a huge range of destinations catering for all tastes.

Popular Destinations of Colombia

Cartagena

Cartagena de Indias is the undisputed queen of the Caribbean coast, a historic city of superbly preserved beauty lying within an impressive 13km of centuries-old colonial stone walls. Cartagena's Old Town is a Unesco World Heritage Site – a maze of cobbled alleys, balconies covered in bougainvillea, and massive churches that cast their shadows across leafy plazas.

Bogota

Bogota is Colombia's beating heart, an engaging and vibrant capital cradled by chilly Andean peaks and steeped in sophisticated urban cool. The city's cultural epicenter is La Candelaria, the cobbled historic downtown to which most travelers gravitate.

Salento

Set amid gorgeous green mountains 24km northeast of Armenia, this small town survives on coffee production, trout farming and tourists, the last drawn by its quaint streets, typical paisa architecture and its proximity to the spectacular Valle de Cocora. It was founded in 1850, and is one of the oldest towns in Quindio.

Medellin

Situated in a narrow valley, Medellín packs the punch of a city twice its size. Its skyline reaches for the heavens, setting high-rise apartments and office buildings against a backdrop of jagged peaks in every direction. Its pleasant climate gives it its nickname – the City of Eternal Spring – and the moderate temperatures put a spring in the locals' steps, at work and at play.

Los Llanos

As you head southeast away from Bogota, the jagged Andean terrain soon flattens out as if a giant guillotine dropped down across the mountains, revealing an endless sea of green grasslands. This is Los Llanos (the Plains). Teeming with wildlife, Los Llanos harbors more than 100 species of mammals and more than 700 bird species, including some of the planet's most endangered species.

The Pacific Coast

It is a place where waterfalls pour out of forest-covered bluffs onto spectacular gray-sand beaches, thermal pools lie hidden in dense jungle and tiny indigenous villages cling to the edge of wild rivers; where whales and dolphins frolic so close to shore you can admire them from your hammock and majestic sea turtles come even closer.
